Kelowna’s Canada Day festivities will be headlined by a fireworks display.
Known as one of the largest July 1 celebrations in the province, it is guaranteed everyone will find something they like downtown with all the events going on.

More than 60,000 people are expected to make their way downtown for activities running from 11 am to 10 pm.
Music will be performed almost the entire day at three different stages including Pioneer Gardens, the Island Stage and Tugboat Beach.
There will be a Taste of Canada Food Fair, Watermelon in the Park, art exhibitions, family activities, a kid zone, mini regatta and more.
Going on in Prospera Place will be the 48th annual Kelowna Folk Fest Stage and ethnic food booths.
There will also be Dolyna Ukrainian Dancers, the Kelowna Pipe Band Society, First Nations Red Spotted Horse Entertainment and many others performing.
On top of everything, there will be the first annual Canada Day Wienerama, with 112 puppies participating in the races presented by the Kelowna Dachshund Club.
Unlike other municipalities in BC, Kelowna residents will be able to witness a firework show at the end of the Canada Day festivities, set for 10 pm.
Entrance to the festival is free, but donations are welcome at the info booths.
