After some spring heat over recent days, things have started to cool down in the Central Okanagan.
That trend will continue into the weekend as the Kelowna area will enjoy milder weather for most of the weekend, although Sunday will try to return to summer-like conditions.
It is turning into a beautiful Friday afternoon, however, as we’ll get up to 23°C under mainly sunny skies. Things will turn a bit later on as the forecast calls for a small chance of showers and even potential thunderstorms. The potential of rain continues overnight as it drops to 12°C.
Saturday will start nice, with sunshine and temps in the teens in the morning, but it’s a similar forecast to Friday for the latter half of the day. The high is 23°C with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. It will start to clear overnight as it drops to 11°C.
Don’t expect any rain or stormy weather on Sunday, as we’ll enjoy a hotter, sunny day. The high is 26°C and warmer temperatures are expected in the morning and evening as well. The overnight low is 12°C under mainly clear skies.
